Well, it’s time to find out! We’ve got Mat in the Rimac, and he’s lining up against MotoGP legend Dani Pedrosa on the Red Bull KTM and a supercharged Suzuki Hayabusa! So let’s see how the three stack up. Starting with the Rimac, it’s packing four electric motors, and they combine to produce 1,914hp and 2,360Nm of torque! It’s also housing a 120kWh battery, so naturally, it’s pretty heavy, weighing in at 2,300kg. It’s also super expensive, coming in at around £2,000,000! Alongside Mat, we have the MotoGP bike. It’s powered by a 1,000cc engine that can produce 270hp and 120Nm, and of course, it is SO much lighter than the Rimac, weighing just 157kg! Then finally we have the Hayabusa. But this is no usual Suzuki Hayabusa! It’s had a supercharger fitted to it, and as a result, its 1.3-litre 4-cylinder engine produces 380hp and 340Nm of torque! This bike is equally light, tipping the scales at just 257kg. So how will this one play out - will the Rimac snatch the win? Or could one of the bikes claim the chequered flag? Posteriormente, han explicado en un túnel del viento horizontal la importancia que tiene la aerodinámica en muchos deportes, entre ellos el motociclismo. A week after the first test of the 2018 preseason, Marc Márquez and Dani Pedrosa enjoyed a unique experience in Madrid, as they felt what it is like to fly in the biggest wind tunnel in Europe. The Repsol Honda team riders floated in the air, as if they had jumped from a plane without a parachute. Mat’s rolled up in his glorious Porsche 911 Turbo S, and he’s going head-to-head against a KTM Road Bike and an awesome Red Bull MotoGP bike! So let’s see how these mega machines stack up. Starting with the Porsche, it’s powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbo flat-six that can deliver 650hp and 800Nm of torque. It also tips the scales at 1,640kg. Alongside it, we have the KTM Road Bike. It’s a KTM Super Duke R 1290 Evo, which is good for around 185hp and 140Nm of torque. Naturally, it’s SO much lighter than the Porsche, with the bike & rider combining for around 250kg. Then finally we have the MotoGP bike. It’s equipped with a 1-litre V4 that produces around 270hp and 120Nm of torque.
